<p>Drawing devices for polyamide or polyester filaments are produced from a filled, sulphur-vulcanised butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer contg. 5-35 pts wt. toluenes ulphonamide per 100 pts. wt. copolymer. The mixt. pref. contains 15 pts. wt. toluenesulphonamide per 100 pts. wt. copolymer. The filler is pref. carbon black. The amount of toluenesulphonamide is sufficient to cause exudation of this material from the surface of the copolymer. This exudation eliminates the adhesive properties normally present on the surface of the drawing device, because of the acumulation of a static charge. consequently the drawing of the polyamide or polyester filaments is facilitated.</p> |
