IP ADDRESS AUTOMATIC ASSIGNMENT METHOD, EQUIPMENT AND SYSTEM

摘要

An Internet Protocol (IP) address automatic assignment method, client and server are provided. The invention overcomes the problem in prior art that only by adding additionally Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol(DHCP) Relay host can the IP address be assigned to the client when the DHCP server and client are not on the same network segment, saves configuration cost, and simplifies network configuration.
