An image display device (1) is provided with a representative image selecting unit (14) for selecting a representative image of each of image groups, a calculating unit (15) for calculating the degree of relationship between the representative image of a first image group among the image groups and the representative image of each of the other image groups than the first image group of the image groups, and a display unit (18) for displaying the other image groups than the first image group in such a way that the image group having a higher degree of relationship between the images is displayed nearer to the first image group.
