摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A device and a method for estimating an incident angle and searching a cell are provided to estimate an azimuth, a phase value, and an elevation angle by using the ratios of phase values corresponding to the number of antenna devices. CONSTITUTION: A planar array antenna(211) includes a plurality of antenna devices. The planar array antenna receives signals transmitted from a plurality of base stations and receives an FDM(Frequency Division Modulation) signal. The FDM signal is an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Modulation) signal. A received beam pattern of the planar array antenna is determined by a beam pattern determining unit(220). An estimating unit(212) performs a cross correlation operation of a pilot signal and the received OFDM signal. The estimating unit estimates the incident angle of the signal transmitted from a target base station based on the extracted cross correlation value.</p>
