<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange an image reading part on an upper surface of an image forming part with a gap in a cantilever state with simpler constitution, by fixing a support, which supports the image reading part, on a side plate of a housing of the image forming part, while inhibiting force from being applied to a narrow range on the side plate thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A first support 500 is fixed in a box part 410 in which a first supporting part 502 is fixed to the side plate 402 and a second supporting part 504 extending in a horizontal direction is fixed to the side plate 402. Therefore, the box part 410 also supports the image reading part 200 integrally with the first support 500. Therefore, since the image reading part 200 is supported in a wide area, that is, a triangle area, comprising the first supporting part 502 and the second supporting part 504, and a square area of the box part 410, it is hard for the side plate 402 to be distorted even when the first support 500 is fixed to the side plate 402. Therefore, even when the first support 500 is fixed to the side plate 402, degradation of image quality caused by distortion of the housing 400 of the image forming part 100 is not caused. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
