<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back contact type solar cell reduced in cost, and improved in a yield by preventing occurrence of a short circuit. <P>SOLUTION: This back contact type solar cell includes: a substrate 2 with p-type diffusion regions 3 and n-type diffusion regions 4 alternately and respectively linearly formed at predetermined intervals on a back face side on the side opposite to a light reception surface side; and a first insulation film 5 formed on the upper surface of the back face of the substrate 2 with first openings 6 formed along the p-type diffusion regions 3 and the n-type diffusion regions 4. The solar cell further includes: first p-type metal electrodes 7 located above the p-type diffusion regions 3 and formed to embed the insides of the first openings 6; and first n-type metal electrodes 8 located above the n-type diffusion regions 4 and formed to embed the insides of the first openings 6. The solar cell still further includes: a second insulation film 9 formed on the upper surface of the insulation film 5 with a plurality of openings 10 formed thereon, and second metal electrodes 11 formed to embed the insides of the second openings 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
