<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put a high-speed aeration sedimentation basin to practical use by solving conventional problems. <P>SOLUTION: The wastewater treatment apparatus includes a reaction tank for treating wastewater by activated sludge and a treatment tank whose internal space is sectioned into an upper part partitioned from the reaction tank by a first partition plate and a bottom part which is a sedimentation tank communicated with the bottom part of the reaction tank, and the wastewater and the activated sludge which are injected to the reaction tank form a rising flow and a falling flow so as to be circulated inside the reaction tank while making a part of the flow pass through the sedimentation tank. A surfacing carrier is supplied to the reaction tank, and a wastewater inlet is provided so as to pour the wastewater toward the surfacing carrier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
