PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine having a laminated core efficiently cooling the laminated core deeply enough to the inner part and uniforming a temperature distribution in a lamination direction. SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine has the laminated core 2 which is formed by laminating core members 4 having a prescribed contour, made of magnetic materials, and arranged in a refrigerant. The core member 4 includes a groove 7 on the laminated face of the core member 4, whose one end and the other end are both led to the contour contacting with the refrigerant.
