PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve for injecting fuel which allows fuel injection under high pressure, miniaturizes a drive section, and facilitates manufacturing the valve. SOLUTION: A valve body 10 is formed into a bottomed cylindrical shape. The valve body 10 has a bottom 12 formed with a nozzle port 121 and a valve seat 122. A needle 20 is formed into a hollow cylindrical shape, and one end is separated from the valve seat 122 or seated on the valve seat 122 to thereby open/close the nozzle port 121. The drive section 30 sucks the needle 20 in such a direction that it is separated from the valve seat 122. A first pressing member 40 urges the needle 20 in such a direction that it is seated on the valve seat 122. A pressure transmission member 50 is formed into a solid cylindrical body, and is provided inside the end of the needle 20 on the side of the bottom 12 so as to be relatively moved with respect to the needle 20. The pressure transmission member 50 transmits the pressure applied to the end surface 53 on a side opposite to the bottom 12 to the bottom 12 (valve body 10). COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
