PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ride comfort on a footstep by suppressing the local abrasion of a circulating chain for constituting a chain drive mechanism by properly driving a footstep chain while maintaining a deep meshing angle even if driving an ordinary footstep chain by the chain drive mechanism which uses a sprocket. SOLUTION: This conveyor device has the chain drive mechanism for applying thrust to the footstep chain by circularly moving the circulating chain. The circulating chain is constituted by connecting a plurality of chain links 13a for setting the pitch length in the same as or to a multiple of the pitch length of a footstep link of the footstep chain via a hinge. The respective chain links 13a have mounting surfaces 13c for mounting footstep rollers 4b of the footstep chain in linear motion, and a pressing surface 13d contacting with front-rear footstep rollers 4b' and 4b" of the footstep roller 4b on the mounting surface 13c, and the footstep roller 4b contacts with only the mounting surface 13c and the pressing surface 13d.
