PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain pattern precision, and to enhance product precision without being affected by substrate materials for use. SOLUTION: A waveguide converter (2) includes: a waveguide section (waveguide 4); a patch (patch conductor 20); a ground conductor section (ground conductor 16); and a port section (10), for example. The waveguide section may be the waveguide. The patch is disposed inside the opening of the waveguide section. The ground conductor section is installed along the opening of the waveguide section.
