<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor that suppresses temperature rise of a magnetic sensor even when a magnetic encoder is attached on a motor. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic encoder 8 is formed for a rotating shaft 31 of a stepping motor 100. In forming the encoder 8, a magnet 81 for encoder is held on a shaft end side more closely to a shaft end on a counter-output side than to a bearing 99 or a bearing holder 98 in the rotating shaft 31, and an MR sensor 82 faces the magnet 81 for encoder on the side opposite to the side where a stator 2 is located, in an axial line direction of the rotating shaft 31 for the magnet 81 for encoder. With this configuration, the MR sensor 82 can be sufficiently separated from the stator 2. Accordingly, even if the stator 2 generates heat when power is supplied to the stator 2, the heat is hardly transmitted to the MR sensor 82. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
