<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a color with a color adjustment value set by an application even when color adjustment is not permitted on a screen of a driver by a system. <P>SOLUTION: Whether color matching of a system is designated or not is determined. When update of information from an application is detected, information validating the setting of color adjustment processing is written. When it is determined that the color matching of the system is designated, and no information for validating the setting of the color adjustment processing is written, the setting of the color adjustment processing is invalidated. When the color adjustment processing is invalidated, print processing is performed without adjusting a color in the driver.
