<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: quality of display is deteriorated because contrast is reduced due to an air layer existent between a display panel and a functional film and thickness of a resin layer existent between the display panel and the functional film is not uniform. <P>SOLUTION: In this method of manufacturing the display device constituted by sticking the functional film onto a main surface of the display panel provided with a display part, the first resin layer is formed on an outer side of the display part on the main surface to surround the display part, a communicating part for communicating an inner side region surrounded by the first resin layer with an outer side region on an outer side beyond the first resin layer among all the regions of the main surface in an in-plane direction of the main surface is formed, a second resin is applied on the inner side region, the functional film is overlapped on the main surface to press them, and the second resin is pressed and spread over the whole inner side region and in the communicating part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
