<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current detection device capable of improving workability on the occasion of mounting a battery. <P>SOLUTION: The current detection device 100 includes: a first fixed part 112 fixed to a wiring conductor on a battery side to perform electrical connection; a second fixed part 114 to which a harness 300 is fixed to perform electrical connection; a busbar 110 as a resistor inserted between these fixed parts; a circuit board 120 on which a current detection circuit is mounted for detecting a current flowing in the busbar 110 on the basis of the difference in voltage between two spots of the busbar 110, and a case 130 arranged between the first and second fixed parts 112 and 114 to house the busbar 110 and the circuit board 120. The mounting surface of the first fixed part 112 and the mounting surface of the second fixed part 114 are respectively arranged in parallel with the top face 200A of the battery 200, and above the battery 200 together.
