摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To moderate a gas reaction when seated, with regard to a gas spring device. <P>SOLUTION: A breathing small hole 62 is provided to be penetrated through radial-directionally in a height position with a distance L from the upper face of a piston 32, under the condition where a piston rod 33 is extended up to the maximum length position, in a cylinder 60. The small hole 62 is a bypath passage for communicating an upper chamber 60A formed inside the cylinder 60, with a communication passage 30 formed outside the cylinder 60. A body weight acts on an outer cylinder 24 when seated on a seat, and the piston 32 moves relatively upwards, since the small hole 62 is located in the height position with the distance L from the upper face of the piston 32, under the condition where the piston rod 33 is extended up to the maximum length position, and gas of the upper chamber 60A of the cylinder 60 flows out thereby into the communication passage 30 formed on the outer side of the cylinder 60 through the small hole 62, until the distance L gets to zero.
