<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color material amount determination table creating method with which an adhesion amount of each color material can be determined based on a color value of any multi-colored image, and to provide a color material amount measurement apparatus for measuring color material amounts using a color material amount determination table. <P>SOLUTION: The color material amount determination table creating method includes: a pattern image output process (S101) of forming a pattern image, in which respective adhesion amounts of color materials have been changed, on a recording medium by changing a control parameter controlling the adhesion amount of color materials of an image creating apparatus; a reflectance characteristic measuring process of measuring reflectance characteristics in a visible wavelength region and an infrared wavelength region of the pattern image; a color value calculating process of calculating the color value of the pattern image based on the reflectance characteristics in the visible wavelength region measured in the reflectance characteristic measuring process; a color material amount calculating process (S104) for calculating the adhesion amounts of the respective color materials constituting the pattern image based on the reflectance characteristics in the infrared wavelength region measured in the reflectance characteristic measuring process; and a table creating process (S105) for creating a color material amount determination table in which the color value of a multi-colored image formed by the image creating apparatus based on the color value and the respective adhesion amounts of the color materials is associated with the respective adhesion amounts of the color materials. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
