PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grater by which grated food can easily be separated from grated juice, and when squeezing the grated food, the amount of juice contained in the grated food can be adjusted as desired. SOLUTION: In the grater, a grating part 1 for grating the food is provided with a plate part 4 for putting the grated food 2 collected in a container 3, in which the grated food 2 is held, to one side of the container 3.
