PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging circuit, which can prevent the generation of a rush current, even when it is disconnected from a charger, in a certification standby state where a battery side and a system circuit side are performing certification processing. SOLUTION: The charging circuit which executes specified certification processing and starts a charge action of a battery on condition that it has succeeded in certification includes a connection state detector 10 which detects whether it is disconnected from the charger during execution of certification processing, and a power supply control means 20, which controls power supply so as to switch the state into a state of supplying power from a battery, in such a state that the residual voltage in a connection line to which the charger is connected is smaller than a voltage supplied by the battery, when the connection state detector 10 detects a disconnected state.
