PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin display device having a string connecting frame of inexpensive and damage-resistant configuration and having a good outer appearance. SOLUTION: A thin display device is provided, wherein a synthetic resin cabinet 2 composed of a front cabinet 2A and a rear cabinet 2B has a built-in liquid crystal module 1 and a stand 3 is fixed to the lower surface of the cabinet 2. A recess 12 is formed by indenting the center of the rear face lower end of the rear cabinet 2B and, on the bottom wall 12a of the recess 12, the string connecting frame 14 is integrally and projectingly formed. Also, two upper and lower die-cut holes 15 communicating with a through-hole 14a formed on the inner peripheral surface of the string connecting frame 14 are piercingly provided on the bottom wall 12a of the recess 12. The die cut hole 15 is closed by a connecting fitting 17 arranged in the lower part inside the cabinet 2 to connect the liquid crystal module 1 to the stand 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
