PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall member, which is used for a projected corner so as to improve an appearance, has high waterproof performance, and dispenses with additional work for prevention of displacement; and to provide a manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In the member 10 for the wall, a surface is formed into a rectangular plate; the upside surface is provided with a protrusion 13 for shiplap; and the downside surface is provided with a recess for shiplap. A boundary 11 between the surface and at least one end surface is molded in a curved or polyhedral shape, and painted in such a manner as to be similar to the surface; and a groove 12, which is fitted to a protrusion 23 on an end surface of another member for the wall perpendicularly brought into contact with the backside of the member for the wall, is provided near the backside end surface brought into contact with the end surface. The waterproof performance is not deteriorated due to a deterioration in a sealant as ever; and the appearance is improved because a joint is less conspicuous than that of a conventional sealing structure.
