PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothed belt which eliminates the need for application of lubricative oil/wax by using a rigid resin layer for a groove between tooth sections, is excellent in durability, and can exhibit sufficient wear resistance without generating abrasion powder even when used under a severe condition for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The toothed belt, equipped with a belt body in which core wire is embedded and a plurality of tooth sections, is constructed by two-layer structure between the rigid resin layer and soft resin layer, and is characterized in that the rigid resin layer is present in groove circumferential surface formed between the tooth sections.
