PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical low center-of-gravity rainwater storage tank which requires less installation space, does not have a tendency to fall down even if fanned in wind outdoors, and is maintained at a low center of gravity. SOLUTION: A main cylindrical part 11 is formed at the upper part of a container body 1, and a swelled part 12 the outer profile of which is further expanded outward than the main cylindrical part 11 is formed at the lower part thereof. A cylindrical water discharge port 13 is formed in the outer surface of the container body near the boundary between the main cylindrical part 11 and the swelled part 12 so as to project from the outer surface. A cylindrical bottom part 15 which extend from the end edge of the bottom installation surface 14 of the container body 1 outward and opened to outside is formed in the container body so as to project from the end edge. A cock member 2 discharging the water stored in the container body 1 while controlling the water quantity can be installed and also an impermeable cap 3 which can close the opened portion can be fitted in at least one of the discharge port 13 and the bottom port 15.
