Refractory enamel protective layers for enamelling building components for nuclear reactors and shapes difficult to enamel, and to provide crack- and pore-free heat- and radiation insulators on steels, Ni- and Co alloys, Mo, W and Nb consist of mixtures of standard enamel frits, with at least one component (A) having a low softening point (600 degrees C) and narrow interval between softening- and melting temps and also a components, (B) with appreciably higher softening point (650-700 degrees C) and larger interval between softening and melting teps. which mixture is fused after applying by usual methods, such as spraying and drying.
|
