Disclosed is a gas diffusion layer having a gas flow path formed on one of the main surfaces thereof, which enables the further improvement in electric power generation performance. Specifically disclosed is a gas diffusion layer (14A, 14C) for a fuel cell, which is composed of multiple structures that have a first diffusion layer (15A, 15C) having a gas flow path (21A, 21C) formed on one of the main surfaces thereof and a second diffusion layer (16A, 16C) arranged on the other of the main surfaces of the first diffusion layer, wherein each of the first and second diffusion layers comprises a porous member mainly composed of electrically conductive particles and a polymer resin, and the first diffusion layer has a lower porosity than that of the second diffusion layer. |
