The invention relates to a modular safety system for two-wheeled vehicles, which is adapted to currently-used guardrails and designed to reduce or minimise bodily injuries to users in the event of an accident, preventing cuts and/or dismemberment in the event of a collision, through the use of shock-absorbing materials. The system comprises at least one additional connection point between the modules forming the protective barrier and the guardrail, located in the intermediate area between the anchoring posts, in addition to another two connection points located on said posts. According to the invention, the protective barrier of the system is formed longitudinally by a smooth front surface and a rear trapezoidal configuration which improves the absorption of the impact energy.
