The present invention provides a voice signal controlling device of a communication apparatus and a controlling method thereof. According to the present invention, the voice signal controlling device of the communication apparatus comprises: a voice signal monitor that monitors a transmission voice signal, which is a voice signal inputted by the user, and a receiving voice signal, which is a voice signal received from a mating communication apparatus; a gain determiner that determines amplification gains for the transmission voice signal and the receiving voice signal according to the results monitored by the voice signal monitor; and a gain controller which controls that the transmission voice signal and/or the receiving voice signal are/is amplified on the basis of each amplification gain determined by the gain determiner. |
