<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical molded item, especially an optical film, which is excellent in appearance and optical characteristics and has high productivity; and to provide a resin composition used for producing such a film. <P>SOLUTION: The optical film has heat resistance, phase difference development and high productivity, is suppressed in gel occurrence and foaming of the film and has a negative orientation birefringence. In particular, the optical film is produced by melt extrusion of a resin composition which includes a copolymer obtained by reacting a copolymer (A) containing (meth)acrylate units and aromatic vinyl units with an imidizing agent. In the copolymer, the ratio of aromatic vinyl units is 25-50 mol%, the content of carboxylic acid units is 0.01-0.15 mmol/g, and an imidizing ratio/carboxylic acid group quantity is higher than 170. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
