<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive optical path changing connector which suppresses misalignment of optical axes in a multi-core optical connection and provides an efficient optical connection. <P>SOLUTION: The optical path changing connector includes: an optical path changing device 2 in which each of light guiding paths is provided in a continuous optical path starting from a first core end surface to a mirror surface through a first core, and then changed in direction by the mirror surface to a second core end surface through a second core; a housing hole 12 in which the optical path changing device 2 is housed so as to expose a first end surface; and an exterior member 5D provided with a light incoming/outgoing window 13 for exposing the second core end surface exposed in a matrix to a second end surface. A pin insert hole 6a is formed in the exterior member 5D in parallel with the optical axis of the first core to be opened on the opening side of the housing hole 12, and a pin insert hole 6b is formed in the exterior member 5D in parallel with the optical axis of the second core to be opened on the opening side of the light incident/emission window 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
