PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve power-saving of a working device while securing proper operation of the device. SOLUTION: A timer for polling time is started when a working device is connected to a user PC by a USB cable (S170). Confirmation processing is executed to confirm whether a command from the user PC is stored in a receiver buffer (S190). When not connected to the user PC by the USB cable, the timer is stopped and the confirmation processing is not executed (S130).
