<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator capable of quickly forwarding a piston during operation. <P>SOLUTION: The actuator A moves the piston 54 arranged in a cylinder 22 by operation gas G generated from a gas generator 42. The gas generator 42 includes: a housing 47 filled with a gas generation agent; and a squib 43. In the housing 47, a ceiling wall arranged in the opposite to a base 55 of the piston 54 before operation has a plurality of doors 50 which break scheduled parts arranged in the circumference so as to open with portions positioned near the center as tip end sides at opening. Each of the doors 50 is constituted so that the tip ends 50a can abut the base 55 of the piston 54 at opening. The space between the piston 54 before moving and the housing 47 is covered in a substantial cylinder shape over the substantially whole circumstance at an axis orthogonal side near the center by each of the doors 50 which open so that the tip ends 50a can abut the base 55 of the piston 54. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
