PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which facilitates cutting processing for each document image when continuously outputting document multiple faces and suppresses the generation of trash as a margin to be generated at the cutting processing, and to provide an image forming method, a program and a recording medium.

SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a document image size acquisition part 11 acquiring a size of the document image; a medium size acquisition part 12 acquiring a size of the medium; a disposing image number calculation part 13 calculating the number of disposing images as the number of the document images to be disposed on the medium; a margin size calculation part 14 calculating a margin size when repeatedly disposing the document image on the medium; an addition margin size calculation part 15 calculating an additional margin size as the margin size to be added at least to one surface of the document image for each document image; and an image forming part 16 forming images while repeatedly disposing a new document image having a margin added to at least one face of the document image based on the additional margin size.
