PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply-structured pounding apparatus which prevents foreign matters in a grain feeding part from sticking to grains of various characteristics. SOLUTION: The pounding apparatus is composed of a pounding part (4) for pounding grains by a prescribed fluid pressure and a grain feeding part (7) for supplying grains in communication with the pounding part (4). The grain feeding part (7) includes a spiral shaft (5) for transporting grains by rotary movement and a guide cylinder (6) for surrounding the outer periphery of the spiral shaft (5) to guide grains, wherein a gap size (A) between the spiral shaft (5) and the guide cylinder (6) is smaller than an average grain size of grains.
