PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control address display by a web browser built in a built-in equipment and to raise the security of the equipment. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus has a browser function which accesses a resource memorized by an image processing apparatus via a FILE scheme or the other scheme to acquire and display the resource on a display part. It exerts control such that a storage location of the resource does not display discriminable information on the display part, when the browser function has access via the FILE scheme to the resource. It exerts control such that the storage location of the resource displays the discriminable information on the display part, when the browser function accesses the resource via the other scheme.
