PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device of a game machine which prevents halfway locking when executing the locking by the driving force of a motor. SOLUTION: A door body is rotatably pivoted at a support body, when a drive motor M is driven, with the door body closed with respect to the support body, a slide member 72 provided on the support body is downward slid and a hook piece 82 is hooked and fixed to a hole 22 to be locked provided in the door body to lock the game machine. When the door body is opened while sliding the slide member 72, or during the locking operation by driving the drive motor M, a CPU rotates the drive motor M in the reverse rotation direction. When the power supply is stopped during the locking operation and is restarted at a later time, the CPU rotates the drive motor M in the normal rotation direction to complete the locking of the game machine.
