Product comprises a substrate having 1 Mohs hardness and extinction coefficient of less than log 1 02, where the substrate is light mediating substance with nanoparticles. The product is processed with light of visible or near infrared wavelength range. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a system, which comprises an optical coherence tomography system, a detector, a product and a light source, where the light source emits light beam; (2) a method for illuminating object with an optical coherence tomography measurement; (3) a method for manufacturing a product, which involves providing substrate with nanoparticles; and (4) an intraocular lens, which comprises optical element marker and visible light producing transparent optical element, which has an optical axis.
