PURPOSE: A sustained release tablet containing quetiapine or salt thereof is provided to uniformly release quetiapine for 24 hours. CONSTITUTION: A sustained release tablet contains: a first release control core having therapeutically effective amount of quetiapine or salt thereof; methacrylate copolymers; phthalate polymers; and organic acid, and a second release control coated layer containing mixture of polyvinyl acetate and polyvinyl pyrrolidone; or semi-permeable membrane-formed polymer of methacrylate polymers.
