METHOD FOR WIDGET PROVIDING AND DISPLAY APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A widget providing method and a display device applying the same are provided to easily search the desired information without loading a web page by previously searching the contents of the web page. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(145) displays an input image. A controller(180) selects one of links, generates a widget corresponding to the selected link and displays the widget on a screen. A storing unit(150) stores the generated widget. If a user selects the widget, the controller displays contents, an image or a summary of a webpage.
