<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individually packaged absorbent article with wing-shaped flaps folded inward in an individually packaged condition, in which the wing-shaped flaps are bonded with each other at appropriate bonding strength, an external sheet of the wing-like flap is prevented from being torn, and bonding of the wing-shaped flaps is not released easily during operation. <P>SOLUTION: When a product is in an individually packaged state, the wing-shaped flaps W are folded with a wing releasing material 12 to the side of a liquid permeable surface sheet 3, and distal edges of the wing-shaped flaps overlap each other on the liquid permeable surface sheet side. The wing-shaped flaps are releasably bonded with each other at the overlapping parts by means of a linear adhesive layer 14 that is formed in the longitudinal direction of a napkin for temporarily bonding the wings. The adhesive layer 14 for temporarily bonding the wings bonds the wings W and W directly at least on one side end parts (an A1 region) among front and rear end parts.
