<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching element driving circuit which prevents a semiconductor switch from being turned on by mistake in a simple configuration, and a power converter which is equipped with the switching element driving circuit. <P>SOLUTION: In the switching element driving circuit, a parasitic capacitor 7a between the gate and the source of a semiconductor switch 7 is charged with electricity by applying a positive voltage to a transformer 2 from a pulse voltage source 1 and applying the voltage to the gate of a semiconductor switch 7, when the semiconductor switch 7 is turned on. When a negative voltage is applied from the pulse voltage source 1 to the transformer 2, a transistor 6 which constitutes a discharging circuit, is turned on, and the charge of the parasitic capacitor 7a between the gate and the source of the semiconductor switch 7 is discharged, and the semiconductor switch 7 is turned off. Then, a short-circuit switch 8 which constitutes a short circuit, is turned on to short-circuit the gate and source of the semiconductor switch 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
