<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten communication time with a radio tag installed in an ink cartridge by properly reading out ink-related information, when a plurality of ink cartridges are mounted on an inkjet printer. <P>SOLUTION: Radio tag communication equipment 50 reads out ink-related information from a radio tag 11 attached to an ink cartridge, and includes one each of a logic part 51 and a modulation circuit 52, wherein an amplifier 53, an antenna 54, a receiving circuit 55, and a memory 56 are installed for each slot. In addition, the radio tag communication equipment 50 transmits all at once an information request signal from each amplifier 53 and each antenna 54, receiving all at once the ink-related information returned from each radio tag 11 by each antenna 54 and each receiving circuit 55, and storing in each memory 56.
