<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the belt fit-feeling of an occupant without the complicated supporting structure of a belt. <P>SOLUTION: In a belt mounting mechanism 10, when a tongue 36 is engaged with a buckle 38, the buckle 38 is moved behind a seat 14 and a seat belt 30 is mounted on an occupant 18. In the case where the occupant 18 is large in physique, the seat 14 is moved to a lower side position and thereby the tension of a wrap belt part 30B is evenly maintained to optimize the seat belt 30 fit-feeling of the occupant 18. On the other hand, in the case where the occupant 18 is small in physique, even if the seat 14 is disposed on an upper side position, the tension of the wrap belt 30B is evenly maintained to optimize the seat belt 30 fit-feeling of the occupant 18.
