<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate maximum extended length without depending on the maximum contracting operation of an extended spring. <P>SOLUTION: This front fork having a fork body extensible with an inner tube 2 retractably inserted in an outer tube 1, is energized in an elongating direction in which the inner tube 2 is projected from the outer tube 1, by the energizing force of a suspension spring S mounted in the fork body.
