PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence device improving an electrical failure without damaging electrical/optical characteristics. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence device including at least an anode 1, a hole injection layer 2, a hole transport layer 3, a light-emitting layer 4, an electron transport layer 5 and a cathode 6 is concerned. The hole injection layer 2 is formed by using a coating method. The conductivity of the hole injection layer 2 is 1×10<SP>-5</SP>(S/cm) or more. A foreign matter can be coated efficiently because a coverage property to the foreign matter is better than a case when the hole injection layer 2 is formed by an evaporation method.
