PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of equipment for mixing an inorganic flocculant such as an agitation tank for adding and mixing the inorganic flocculant to condensed sludge and then to provide a dehydrated cake of a low water content, when condensing flocculated sludge, adding the inorganic flocculant to the condensed sludge and dehdyrating it. SOLUTION: In the sludge dehydration method including a flocculation process of adding and mixing a flocculant to the sludge and performing flocculation treatment, a sludge condensing process of condensing the flocculated sludge in the flocculation process and separating it into the condensed sludge and separated water, a condensed sludge feeding process of feeding the condensed sludge through a pipeline to a dehydrator, and a dehydration process of dehydrating the condensed sludge in the dehydrator, the separation ratio of the condensed sludge and the separated water is adjusted so as to control a sludge concentration to be ≥1% and ≤3% in the sludge condensing process, and the inorganic flocculant is added to the pipeline.
