PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device capable of specifying a dangerous vehicle according to the type of accident likely to occur by a vehicle. SOLUTION: The support device 10 carried in a vehicle CA1 determines a traveling direction of the vehicle CA1 at an nearest upcoming intersection CROSS in the traveling direction of the vehicle CA1 and determines the type of accident likely to occur by the vehicle CA1, based on map information, a position of the vehicle CA1, the traveling direction of the vehicle CA1 and a turn indicator signal of the vehicle CA1. Then, the support device 10 carried in the vehicle CA1 specifies vehicles CA2 to CA4 as dangerous vehicles respectively in a head-on accident, right-turn accident and left-turn accident, according to the type of accident likely to occur by the vehicle CA1, based on positions, speeds and traveling directions of vehicles CA2 to CA4, and the position of the vehicle CA1, and alerts a driver of the vehicle CA1 with the specified dangerous vehicles.
