PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply attach a guide bar to a chain saw body without using tools including a plug wrench and to prevent the occurrence of a difference in the fixed state of the guide bar independent of an operator. SOLUTION: A guard part 30 has a chain tensioner 40 having an engaging part 40A engaging with an engaged part 10B formed in the base end part 10A of the guide bar 10, a guide member 41 guiding the chain tensioner 40 along the longitudinal direction of the guide bar 10, and a biasing member 42 which biases the chain tensioner 40 guided along the longitudinal direction of the guide bar 10 by the guide member 41 in the tip direction of the guide bar 10. Engagement parts 40P and 41P engaging with each other while the base end part 10A of the guide bar 10 is pressure-contacted with the chain saw body 20 by the guard part 30 are formed in the chain tensioner 40 and the guide member 41.
