When a photosensitive drum is to be charged by applying a DC voltage to a charge roller, the gap between the roller and a photosensitive drum has conventionally been exposed to a preset quantity of light. However, a charging irregularity occurs if a process speed is lowered. Provided is an image forming device, wherein, when the process speed is low, the quantity of light to be irradiated to the charge gap is made more than that of the case in which the process speed is high. |
