<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately discriminate whether or not a discrimination-subject image is an image obtained by photographing a discrimination-subject. <P>SOLUTION: A feature vector computation section 24 computes a feature vector expressing gradient histograms for each of plural child regions that have been further partitioned from plural parent regions partitioned from a discrimination-subject image. A feature correlation vector computation section 26 computes for each parent region a feature correlation vector expressing correlation values computed from respective combinations of the same or different elements across feature vectors computed for each child region, and correlation values computed from respective combinations of the same or different elements within one of the feature vectors. A discrimination section 30, based on the feature correlation vector computed for each parent region, discriminates whether or not the discrimination-subject image is an image expressing a discrimination-subject. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
