<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content receiver corresponding to a plurality of RMP (Right Management & Protection) systems each formulated for each content distribution system. <P>SOLUTION: Only a format prescribing a specification of RMP formed of information such as content charging/security/copyright protection is unified. Each content provider inputs right processing information or an encryption content into a content in a format complying with a unification specification.
